Mackerel - Postcard
An original unique painting of three mackerel using watercolours, gouache and fine pen line work on a vintage postcard of Boscastle, Cornwall and mounted between two sheets of glass.
The mackerel are hand painted in watercolours and gouache over a pen and pencil sketch. The painting is framed between 2 pieces of cut glass and finished with copper foil and 60% lead 40% tin solder. Copper rings have been added and British made copper ribbon included for hanging.
