This is a super outdoor event (that runs on the last Sunday of every month from April to September) on The Promenade at Grange Over Sands. A collection of local makers ranging from fine art drawings, paintings and photography to woodwork, ceramics, textiles, jewellery and other handmade crafts attend in individual gazebos.
With lovely views out over Morecambe Bay, it’s an easy walk from Grange main street and there are lots of free car parking spaces on the roads nearby. Refreshments are available on The Prom and access is perfect for wheelchairs.
Abi & Tom's Garden Plants - NGS Open Gardens
Abi & Tom are opening their stunning Halecat Nursery in Witherslack, Cumbria on Sunday 9th August 2026 for the National Garden Scheme. They will be opening ‘behind the scenes’ with their propagating areas, stock beds, family gardens available to the public for this day only. Access to the nursery sales areas as usual.
Art in the Pen 2026
The Badger Sett Studio at Skipton Auction Mart, 2025
Celebrating its 20th Anniversary this year, Art in the Pen is a large indoor art and craft market that takes place every August at Skipton Auction Mart. With 200 stalls of contemporary art and craft, this is the ultimate destination to meet the artists and makers and buy unique handmade work.
This will be The Badger Sett Studio’s first time at Art in the Pen and I am really excited to be able to bring my unique copper foil framed paintings on vintage ephemera.
£7.50 entry fee (U16s free entry) but pre-booking is essential as tickets are not available on the day.
Saturday: 9am - 4pm

Crafts in the Pen 2026
The Badger Sett Studio at Crafts in the Pen 2025
In its 11th year, Crafts in the Pen is a large crafts market that takes place each November at Skipton Auction Mart. With 230 stalls of art, craft and festive products, this is the ultimate destination to find unique gifts and decorations all in one place!
I am delighted to be attending the 2026 event. This will be The Badger Sett Studio’s second time at Crafts in the Pen and I am really excited to be able to bring more of my unique copper foil framed paintings on vintage ephemera and also some collagraph and linoprints and cards.

Kirkby Lonsdale Christmas Fair
Attending for our second year, this is a wonderful festive weekend with a real Christmassy feel! Set in the picturesque town of Kirkby Lonsdale, there’s lots going on around the town from Friday evening to Sunday, from indulgent food and drink offerings, to Christmas activities and celebrations for all ages. Alongside this, there are plenty of opportunities to buy from local makers in several locations in the town. We will be in attendance in the Lunesdale Hall (also known as The Institute) with a selection of original copper foiled paintings, cards and linoprints.
Shop Small at 36 Christmas
We are really excited to be back with Events By Shop Small at Junction 36 Auction Mart, Crooklands, Cumbria! A fantastic indoor event packed with a huge variety of local makers selling handmade arts, crafts, food & drink, clothing and homeware.
Craft & Flea at Lancaster Town Hall
Craft & Flea is a nationwide makers market host, considered to be the UK's biggest. It brings together the best independent makers, collectors, designers, and creatives from the local area together. This event will be hosted at Lancaster Town Hall from 11am-4pm.
Local Makers Fair at RSPB Leighton Moss
A two day local makers market with a nature theme at the RSPB Leighton Moss Visitor Centre, Lancashire. Opportunities to pick up lovely handmade items and cards and meet the makers.
