3 Bees - Platform Ticket - Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch
An original unique painting of 3 bumblebees using watercolours, gouache and fine pen line work on vintage railway ephemera mounted between two sheets of glass.
The bees are hand painted in watercolours and gouache over a pen and pencil sketch on a 1962 platform ticket for Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch station, Anglesey, Wales. The painting is framed between 2 pieces of cut glass and finished with copper foil and 40% lead 60% tin solder. Copper rings have been added and British made copper ribbon included for hanging.
