An original unique watercolour painting of two puffins standing on rocks using watercolours, inks, gouache and fine pen line work on vintage railway ephemera mounted between two sheets of glass.
This is an original 1962 British Railways Handbill to Llandudno & Menai Bridge. The puffins are hand painted in watercolours and gouache over a pen and pencil sketch. The painting is framed between 2 pieces of cut glass and finished with copper foil and 40% lead 60% tin solder. A handmade wooden block made from reclaimed wood provides a stand for the painting.
This painting would make a lovely unique gift and is perfect for a collector.
