This is an original 1958 SE English Lakes OS Map featuring the section of Kendal and surrounding areas. The nuthatch is hand painted in watercolours and gouache over a pen and pencil sketch. The painting is framed between 2 pieces of cut glass and finished with copper foil and 40% lead 60% tin solder. A handmade wooden block made from reclaimed wood provides a stand for the painting.
This painting would make a lovely unique gift and is perfect for a collector.
