Handmade Garden Birds Bunting Single Print
Introducing the first Badger Sett Studio bunting! A 2.2 metre string of 6 bunting triangles of garden birds in 6 pastel shades. This set is printed with a single bird on each triangle (please see images).
Handprinted and handstitched in my studio in Lancashire using my handcut linos of 6 garden birds, this bunting features the bullfinch, blue tit, robin, goldfinch, wren and blackbird printed on backgrounds of peach, sky blue, pink, golden yellow, lavender and mint green, backed with an off-white 130gsm calico and topped with off-white bunting tape.
In a world where so much is now mass produced, I feel it is so important to try to make as much as possible from scratch and be able to call everything I sell 'handmade in Lancashire.'
Length: 2.2m approximately
Materials: 100% cotton, heat set fabric inks
Washing instructions: Hand wash at 40°
Long term care: as with all bunting, it is tempting to hang it in a window (and then forget about it!). Regarding sunlight, all fabrics should be treated with care and so should not be left in direct sun for long periods to avoid fading.
PLEASE NOTE: as the fabrics are handprinted, there may be natural variations in the printing of each bird, however this is part of the quality of handprinted lino on fabric.
