This is an original Furness Railway invoice from 1900 from Barrow in Furness to Skipton. The barn owl is hand painted in watercolours over a pen and pencil sketch. The painting is framed between 2 pieces of cut glass and finished with copper foil and 40% lead 60% tin solder. A handmade wooden block made from reclaimed wood provides a stand for the painting.
