Original unique ‘to scale’ paintings of British birds eggs using watercolours, inks, gouache and fine pen line work on original vintage bus tickets mounted between two sheets of glass.
The eggs are life size hand painted in watercolours and gouache over pen and pencil sketches on vintage bus tickets from across the UK. The paintings are framed between 2 pieces of cut glass and finished with copper foil and 40% lead 60% tin solder. Copper rings have been added and British made copper ribbon included for hanging.
These mini paintings would make lovely unique gifts and are perfect for collectors.
4cm x 7.5cm approx.
This painting is presented in a handmade copper foiled and soldered glass sandwich frame. All frames are made by The Badger Sett Studio in Lancashire.
