Birthday Dog
This is an original handcut linoprint of my Fox Terrier, George, who ‘assists’ me in the studio. In honour of his 3rd birthday, a commissioned print has been made available. He is wearing his ‘birthday hat’ (that was made in haste for his 1st birthday) which he has worn every year on his birthday. It is a Dominoes pizza leaflet with an annually edited post it note attached!
This print measures approximately 5.5” x 7.5” (14cm x 19cm) on 220gsm Fabriano Rosaspina paper using Caligo Safewash ink. Each print is hand signed and titled.
This print is hand carved from a linoleum block, inked by roller and hand pressed on to paper. The colour details are handpainted on to the lino using a brush.
As the birthday hat on each print is handpainted with ink, slight variations may occur between prints however this is part of the character of linoprints.

FRAMING / MOUNTING
This print is soldmounted in a 8” x 10” (20cm x 25.5cm) Antique White acid free mount. A frame for an 8” x 10” mounted image would be suitable.
