An original unique painting of a bee using watercolours, inks, gouache and fine pen line work on an original c1910 North Eastern Railway luggage label from Harrogate to Blackpool mounted between two sheets of glass.
The bee is hand painted in watercolours and gouache over a pen and pencil sketch. The painting is framed between 2 pieces of cut glass and finished with copper foil and 40% lead 60% tin solder. Copper rings have been added and British made copper ribbon included for hanging.
